Good evening ..... just a quick post as I'm ready for bed. You know when you just have one of those days? Yep I've had one of those ... and this card has taken me all night (3 hours!) to put together! I just couldn't seem to cut the circles neat enough ... MUST GET SOME DIES! and I kept making stupid mistakes ..... but it has turned out quite nice.
And finally ............................
I've used this adorable Meljen's mouse ..... isn't he just the cutest little fellow....
Here is a close up of the mouse ...I used E40, E41, and then over the top W1, W3, W5. For the pink on the mouse I used R20, R22. The flower was RV13, RV14 & RV17 with G05 for the stem.
Also used a little Meljen's butterfly :)
I am going to give this card to someone very special ........ I created it with them in mind so I hope they love it.
I would like to enter this little cutie into the following challenges:-
Meljen's - #78 Use a circle and a square
Cute Card Thursday - Animal Crakers
Okee Dokeee .. bed time for me. Big day tomorrow as it is Football grand finals and my team is playing ... fingers crossed...... Go Pies! Going to my Sister's for a BBQ lunch so that will be nice. She has a bit of land so the kids can run around .... if this rain eases up!
Anyway I'm waffling ... I tend to do that especially when I am tired ..... so for now .... goodbye :)

My first Challenge Week DT card for Stamping With The Dragon
Hi there ... oooohh I'm a little nervous and a lot excited! (and I know that is not proper English ... but you know what I mean)
This is my first challenge week DT card for Stamping With The Dragon ...... ta daaaaaa
Isn't this little fellow gorgeous! You can find Country Scarecrow at Meljen's Designs along with heaps of other gorgeous characters that you will just fall in love with.
This Fall Colours challenge is being sponsored by Meljen's and by entering your creation you could win 4 Meljen's images!!!!!!!!
I used Copic Markers to colour this little Country Scarecrow :-
Stars - Y17
Crow - C1, 3, 5 & 7
Bow/Patch - YG11, 13
Boots - E50, 31, 33
Hat - YR23, 31
Legs - YR00. 02, 04
Beak & Heart - YR04, 07
I used yellow spica pen on the swirly bits around the image just for a bit of bling. My background paper is handmade by me. I stamped a leaf stamp using ColourBox Fluid Chalk Tangerine on some yellow cardstock.
Lots of different layers .... and done. I'm really pleased with the way I have coloured the little fellow and to be honest I find all the Meljen's images I have quite easy to colour and give personality to.
So pop on over to Stamping With The Dragon Challenge Blog and get your Fall Colours entry in ... can't wait to see what you create.

my first Shaker card ......
Hello :) I have been so busy making DT cards! Being on 3 Design Teams is a lot of work ... but I'm loving it! Its making me think more about what I'm creating and what I can do differently.
Today's card I made just because ....... and I tried something I have never done before .... a shaker card.
Well it has been a big learning curve for me! Firstly the double sided foam stuff I used didn't stick properly and so it kept falling apart. So then I tried some different tape and this stuck so well and quickly that it was all crooked and I couldn't get the acetate off to try again. So back to square one and luckily I found some different foam tape and managed to put it together.
Sorry about the angle ... my daughter is napping so I had to sneak into the kitchen and take this photo ..... there wasn't enough light anywhere else as its a really windy and wet day here today.
This is it laying down .... but then it's hard to tell it's a shaker card.
The absolutely gorgeous Druscilla from Tiddly Inks ... I got her as part of my prize from the Tiddly Inks Blog for being the monthly winner in August ... how lucky was I to win!
Just a bit closer for you so you can see the wings a bit better.
I coloured the lovely Druscilla in the following copic markers:-
V12, 15, 17 for dress
BG09 for top
E 31, 35 & 37 for hair
E000, 00, 02 for skin
For her wings I used some Ranger Stickles for the pattern and then carefully went around the rest of the wing area with Ranger Ice Stickles.
Better finish up this post .... the little one is due to wake up any minute ... full of demands :)
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-
Tiddly Inks Challenge #66 Use Acrylic
Flutter By Wednesday #173 Anything Goes
oh and that will have to do because I can hear "Mummy! Mummy! Mummy!"
See you again later :)

Woo Hooo! I'm on the Design Team for Creative Craft Challenges!
Oooohhh I'm so excited! I found out last week that I was chosen to be a part of the Design Team over at Creative Craft Challenges and I have been absolutely bursting with the news .........
Can't believe I'm lucky enough to have been selected for another Design Team! Wow I'm going to have to work really hard and be very creative .... who am I kidding! I love colouring and creating so much that its not work ... it's LOVE!
Anyway that's enough about me being excited. Over at Creative Craft Challenges we have an awesome Sketch Challenge. I really liked this sketch and had so much fun creating my card. I love all the DTs cards ... amazing how different colours and papers can totally transform the look.
For this challenge we were sponsored by Robyns Fetish Digital Stamps and I got to work with this gorgeous A Little Bird Told Me. This little cutie was a real pleasure to colour. I used the following Copic Markers:-
YR04, E35, Y15, Y17 & G07 - Flowers
YG03 - Grass
YR07, E51, E53, B12 & B14 - Bird
E31, E35 & E37 - Log
I have used some Kaiser papers and bazzill for the different layers and then some little flower brads from my stash. Not sure where the Thank You stamp is from .. it's just a rubber one I have in my stamp collection. I inked it up in Colourbox Fluid Chalk Tangerine.
I swiped the edge of the Colourbox ink pad around the edges of the papers and base card just to give it a bit more colour.
So head on over to Creative Craft Challenges and enter your gorgeous card using the sketch. The DT cards are fabulous and will give you heaps of inspiration if you need it. There are also some Robyns Fetish digis and a stamp from Just Traceys to be won.
Have fun creating

My first time with twine .. hey that rhymes :)
Good evening ... another late one for me again. I get my image coloured fairly quickly but then it takes me another hour or two to put together the card .... arrrrgggghhhh.
And then when I take the photos and look at it .. I always think about how I could have done this or that .. but it's to late as everything is stuck down ... sigh.
But anyway here is a Christmas card for you. I used the gorgeous new Christina from Tickled Pink stamps. There was a new release just recently of Christmas ones and this was my favourite. I'm really happy with the colouring and the spica pen on her lips, glasses, flower, necklace and christmas gift ribbon really sparkle.
I have used Copic Markers to colour her and lots of Spica (which never shows up in the photos).
The papers are from Kaisercraft and I'm not sure where the covered buttons are from. I embossed the base card with a cuttlebug folder and then had to make my own twine as I didn't have any! Believe it or not I have made the twine from some hessian webbing stuff ... just pulled it apart and coloured one piece red before twisting it together.
After I took the photos I realised I could have perhaps distressed the edges of the papers or ran an ink pad along the edge ... oh well maybe next time.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-
Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges - #38 Combo (I have used the Buttons & Twine combo)
Christmas Stampin' All Year Round - Keep It Simple
Thanks for stopping by ... sorry it is a quick post again but I must get to bed ... hard day today and an early start tomorrow.
Be back tomorrow night with something new to show you :)

Thought I would use some glimmer and magic ......
A really quick post tonight as it's already 10.30pm and I haven't even uploaded my photos yet .... arrrggghhh!
I have used the gorgeous Tiddly Inks Unicorn and Sentiment and coloured her in Copic Markers:-
Mane - BV000
Body - G000 and then V000 over the top to give a mottled effect
Horn - Y00
For the background I stamped a lace stamp from Kaisercraft in Perfect Medium ink and then rubbed over the top with Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks. I'm quite happy with the result .... what do you think?
I have created this card for the latest challenge over at Tiddly Inks .... it has been a two week challenge ... and believe me I have really struggled with it. The challenge was Art Journaling ... and I had no idea what that even was. I have tried about 5 different things and none of them were to my liking and I had decided to give up ... I just didn't think I really liked the kind of style ... and then I thought about my Unicorn whom had yet to be coloured ...... and this is what evolved. Finally something I like.
This little book is my Copic Colouring ideas book where I write my colour combos etc. and it is always right next to me on my desk. It seems fitting that I absolutely adore Unicorns (ever since I saw that movie The Last Unicorn as a child) and my markers ... so they go well together :)
Anyway I'm waffling .... gotta go ..... must get some sleep as my little one has been getting up at 6am lately!
Oh but talking about Tiddly Inks ..... when you head over to the challenge blog (click on my header) you will see that I was a lucky winner !!!!!! I'm so excited ..... more Tiddly Inks stamps for me ...yipppeeeeeeee!!!!
Ok I'm really going now ... night night.

My first DT card for Stamping With The Dragon
Hello :) No I have not been abducted by aliens .... or away on holidays ..... or MIA ... I've just been busy creating for my Design Team cards.
Here is one for you now ........................
I have used the absolutely cute Jiggy with Flowers from Dragons Lair Designs. A fairly simple card with just the two colour schemes. I coloured Jiggy in Copic Markers and used some IceStickles for the wings. The lace border on the sides of the card I cut using my Gazelle cutting machine (a machine I really don't use much yet as I don't really know how ... but I'll get there).
I really love Jiggy ... for those that have been following me you will know that I love purple and dragons! So to be accepted onto the Stamping Dragon Design Team was totally AWESOME!
There is a fantastic challenge over at Stamping With The Dragon Challenge Blog ... show us your 3D or decoupage projects! If you are not sure where to begin then all you have to do is check out the wonderful projects from the DT team using the new 3D/Decoupage sheets available from Dragons Lair Designs. There are some really great designs!
Thanks for stopping by :)

Roooooaaaarrrrrrr ...... with love
Hello and welcome to tonight's blog post. I'm thrilled because I just found out that I won a prize over at Tiddly Inks ..... yippeeeeeee! I have been busy creating cards the last few nights ... but can't show you yet ... they are for Design Teams .... so you will have to wait :)
I have a real mean cat to show you tonight .... well actually he is totally gorgeous and you may just want to pick him up and cuddle him.
I have used the totally cuddly lion from Meljens. I had two attempts at colouring this little cutie but the first one just didn't seem right.......
I coloured this first image in E93, 95 & 97 and his mane in E08 ... but he just turned out to orange (perhaps he was a white lion and he used fake tan!).
This image I used E11, E13 & E15 for his face and body and for the mane and tail I used Y21 with small flicks of YR23 and then YR38 before going back over it with Y21. On his cheeks and nose I used R00 & R02.
I wanted quite a masculine feel to this card so the rest of the card is rather plain. An oval using a die and some circles using some punches with some little stamps from my stash. Sorry I'm not sure what brand they are ...
I stamped everything in Chestnut Roan Colourbox Fluid Chalk Ink and then ran the same ink pad around the edges of everything to tie it all in.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:-
Meljen's #77 Sketch
365 Cards - Day 206 Love, Masculine Style
Hanna And Friends - #112 Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Dies to Die For
Truly Scrumptious - #66 Clean and Simple
Thanks for stopping by :) I hope you are having fun creating and/or checking out what others have done.
Goodnight .....xoxoxox

Crafting For All Seasons Challenge #10 - Sunset/Fall Colours
Good morning, evening, afternoon or whatever the time may be where you are :) Perhaps we will just call it Craft Time or Blog Time :)
The new challenge over at Crafting For All Seasons is Sunset / Fall Colours. Here in Australia it is spring, we have lovely pink and white blossoms and delicate green budding leaves on the trees. But this image is so perfect for Autumn colours that it wasn't hard to imagine them as I was creating.
We are lucky to be sponsored by Whimsy Stamps for this challenge! They have a great range of both rubber and digital images. I have used the Cornucopia stamp and coloured it with the following copics:-
Y38, YR16 - oranges
YR04, YR07, YR16 - pumpkin
YR23, Y21, YR31 - corn leaves & Y08 for the corn
G12, G14 - pear
V12, V17 - grapes
YG11, YG13, YG23 - squash
YG95, YG93 - long vegie/fruit up the back ... I'm sorry I have no idea what this is :)
R22, R24, R27, R29 - apples and strawberries
E31, 33, 37 - for the basket
I used a clear polymer stamp sentiment but due to the layers of cardstock it was a bit patchy so I traced over it with the Copic Multi Liner in black. Made it much clearer to read. I also modified the full stop at the end with a little heart :)
A piece of twine completes my country Autumn look. I really hope you head over to Crafting For All Seasons and enter the challenge ... there are some wonderful prizes to be won.
Good luck and I'm looking forward to visiting your blog to see what you come up with.
We also got some gorgeous Sweet 'n Sassy images to play with. Oh there are so many cute images click here to check them out. I have used the cute Baking Bethany to create a small gift card. Mmmmm can't you just smell that delicious pie. In keeping with our challenge I have coloured the leaves in Autumn colours but I think they would look stunning in greens as well. So many different things you could do with this image. I think it would look great layered ... could have some real fun with that.
Thankyou for visiting me, I hope you enjoy checking out all the other Design Team Member's Blogs as well.

Pink & Chocolate ... mmmmmm chocolate
What a gorgeous day it has been today! I hope you had a lovely day also. It was sunny and warm, but not hot. My little one and I were both not feeling great today ... but we still spent nearly all day outside playing with the two chooks, two cats and the dog, digging in the dirt, picking flowers and lemons and all the other stuff that 2 year olds like to do.
The card you are about to see is an odd one ... well in my eyes it is. I'm not terribly sure about the colours and the layout. I LOVE the way my colouring turned out on Make It Crafty's Elizabeth, its just the rest of the card I'm not sure about. Feel free to give me your honest opinion because this is how I will learn :)
I'm totally thrilled with the shading of Elizabeth, especially her legs. I wasn't sure where I should put the darker areas on her dress so I hope its right. I really struggle with light and shadow. I embossed the light brown card (lets be creative and call it 'late') with a chandelier embossing folder through the cuttlebug. And the rest is pretty straight forward.
The copic markers I used were:-
E50, 51, 53 - cream area on dress
E000, 00, 02 - skin
R81, 83, 85 - pink areas
E35, 37 - hair
and there is clear spica pen on the fan, flowers in her hair and buckles of the dress.

Oh no not orange!
Yippe made it back ... got to type quickly as its past my bedtime ... am trying to stop crafting a little earlier so that I wind down before bed (I have trouble getting to sleep .. thinking about colours, images etc) but it doesn't seem to be working as I'm still up and its after 10pm.
I worked really hard in the garden today and my body is sore and scratched from all the old rose bushes I pulled out. I was lucky enough to have my Mum come and help me and between the two of us (of course Madalyn .. aged 2 ... helped as well ... well I'm sure she meant it as helping ha ha ha) we got all the roses out and the weeds removed. Now I just have to prepare it for planting some nice native plants. But anyway I digress ... you don't want to hear about gardening ... you want to hear about cardmaking.
So here is my card.........................
I have used an orange base card and then attached a black piece of cardstock that I embossed through the Cuttlebug using a Cog folder.
I then attached some stripey scrapbooking paper from my stash and then repeated the colours for under the image.
Here is a close up of this Mini Frankenstein from Make It Crafty. I have coloured him in the following Copics:-
YG91, 93, 95 - skin
YR31, YR23 & Y38 - hair
YR04 - t-shirt
E40, 41, 43 - jacket
C1, 3, 5, 7 - black areas
I would like to enter this not so scary little guy into the following challenges:-
Make It Crafty - #35 Black & Orange
4 Crafty Chicks - #55 Embossing
Thankyou for stopping by and I hope you have had some fun creating something today ... or perhaps doing a bit of gardening :)
See you again soon
xoxoxo Carly

The Colours Of Autumn/Fall
Well my previous post was bright and colourful .. like a rainbow on a bright sunny day .... and now I have a card in Autumn colours.
I coloured this gorgeous Meljen's Mouse with Acorns the other day and tonight I finally added him to a card.
This image was a real delight to colour. All the areas are large so it's not to hard to stay in the lines and you don't need a heap of colours.
I forgot to write down the colours but I think I used :-
Acorns - E97, E33, E37, YR23, E47, E57
Mouse - C1, C3, C5 R20, R22
I used some Cuttlebug dies for the leaves and then just stuck it all together. I used a thick needle to pierce the holes in the card stock at the front ... but I must admit I cheated for the inside of the card and used a brown pen marker to draw dots.
I haven't put a sentiment on the front of the card as it just made it seem unbalanced. Hope you like it :)

Bright and Cheerful and full of Love, Peace and Happiness
Hello fellow lovers of papercraft :)
I hope the day has treated you well ... we had a lovely sunny day here today which always makes things seem cleaner and brighter. (except when the sun shines on the dust ... oh well ... can't have it all)
I have created a really bright card today ... not something I do very often. I have used the really sweet Lil Fashionette 60's Willow from Tickled Pink Stamps. I coloured her in Copics and was totally thrilled with how she turned out. I stayed in the lines really well and I'm pleased with my colour choices. My husband said her hair looked fantastic, really glossy .... made me very happy as he is usually quite critical (in a nice way) of my colouring (I have trouble with where the light should be coming from).
I have then just used bits and pieces from my stash .... tearing the paper was FUN! good therapy. This card reminds me of a rainbow ...
I would love to enter this bright and summery card into the following challenges:-
Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge - #37 Rip something
Cute Card Thursday - #182 Anything Goes
Delightful Challenges - Girly Girl
Papercraft Star - #62 Anything Goes
Thankyou for stopping by ... I hope the bright colours have helped brighten your day.

back again .... I'm on a roll ... fueled by chocolate :)
Hello again .... wow I'm typing really fast ... amazing what chocolates and coffee can do!
I found this awesome FREEBIE over at a site called Dude Time Doodles Challenge! So I quickly coloured him and here is the result :)
I have stuck the image onto a piece of black card and then assembled him onto an invitation! Yep a pre-printed invitation that I received from my little sister for her 30th Birthday party. She is into all things gothic and dark but also has a great sense of humour so it seemed fitting to use this image.
I love to recycle and may have mentioned before that I'm a bit of a hoarder and save all my cards, envelopes, ribbons, wrapping paper as well as other bits and pieces. Maybe in another life I was a Bower Bird :)
Hope you like him :)
I would like to enter this awesome vampire in the following challenges:-
Dude Time Doodles Challenge - Sept. Freebie
Simon Says Stamp Blog - Sing It (song or film title inspired) .... think Lost Boys, Interview with a Vampire or Twilight to name a few :)
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Things with wings
The Cheerful Stamp Pad - #25 Let's Reuse (used the invitation)
Haunted Design House - Seven Deadly Sins (I pick GREED as he has a greedy look in his eyes and has a very fat tummy)
And with this sugar rush still working ... I may be back again tonight ..... :)

Woof Woof
Hi there :) Aaahhh it's good to be back. My little daughter has not been having her day nap .... and sadly this means no colouring time for me until the evening when she has gone to bed.
I have for you tonight a cute little image from Digi Darla Stamp Club. I was lucky enough to win a couple of months membership to this site. She has heaps of free images for members.
I have coloured this cute little dog .. I think its a pug ... and look how his pleading little eyes are saying "please let me eat those delicious biscuits".......
I have kept this card quite plain as I would like to give it to a male friend.
I have used the following copic markers:-
Dog - E43, E47
Antlers - E37 and brown spica pen
Coat - G28, R27, R29 and Gold spica pen
Plate - C00
Biscuits - E31, E33

It's been a while ......
Hi :) It feels strange not having posted anything for a couple of nights ... but I am still here, just busy colouring.
I got some new images from Make It Crafty and have been busy colouring them ..... not making them into anything as yet ... just playing.
So I will hopefully be back tomorrow night with an actual creation :)
I'm a bit excited as I won a prize over at Dustin Pike's blog (Pikes Playground) .. was the random draw so wasn't skill ... but still nice to win.
Hope you are having fun creating .... see you soon.

Purple and pretty
Yippee I made it back. Isn't it funny sometimes how you can colour an image and then get totally stuck! Well that doesn't happen to me sometimes ... it happens to me all the time ... sigh. But tonight I didn't struggle as much. I found some colours that I loved and did a simple layout ... and was so happy with the result!
I think this is one of my favourite cards so far ... yes its simple, not many embellishments and not a lot of patterns but I love them like that.
I used a chipboard 'buckle' and coloured it with my copic V17 ... I had never done that before and am so excited by the result that I will be doing it again very soon.
The other colours I used are:- BG01, BG05, BG07, BG09 V12, V15, V17 E000, E00, E02 and E33, E35, E37 and of course spica pens! But unfortunately the sparkle does not show on the photos.
I love this Tickled Pink stamp called Lil Allsorts Kira. I have so many Tickled Pink stamps and I did want to use one of my newer ones .... but I keep getting drawn back to her. I love the look on her face ... it can say so much.
Simple, clean straight lines ... but I think it really worked.
How excited was I .... to use a chipboard piece and colour it with copics! First time for me ... love it! Colours don't look that great here as I had to use the flash.
So happy with my colouring .. didn't go outside the lines (much).
You may notice on this image here that her eyes are not coloured ... I only just noticed so I have now added some colour ... (you will see it in the image above) silly me.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge:-
Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge Blog - #36 Chipboard
Make It Colourful - #34 Make It Purple
Tickled Pink is also doing a Design Team Guest spot call! I'm so excited ... and am applying so fingers crossed and wish me luck because I'm going to need it (there is way to much great talent out there, but I've got to try).
Thanks for stopping by for my 101 entry :)

This is my 100th Blog Entry!
Hello :) I can't believe that this is my 100th blog entry! amazing ..... and all of them except for a few have had a creation attached ... wow.
Tonight I just have a really simple one for you.
So without further ado ....
here is my Water Boy (make that a Water Bee) .... this cute little Meljen's bee carrying his heavy buckets is just a cutie and a real joy to colour.
I didn't really have a sporty Meljen's stamp for the challenge ... but when I saw this little guy I knew he would be perfect!
I would like to enter this cute little bee into the following challenge:-
Meljens - #75 All Things Sporty
because what fun would sport be without refreshments :)
Thanks for stopping by :)
Hope to be back later tonight ...... hopefully :)
