Stamping With The Dragon - Spring

What time of the year is your favourite?  Mine has got to be spring!  Gorgeous flowers, cute baby animals and dragons hiding in bushes.

What?  you didn't see that dragon on your walk the other day?  Lucky I took a photo for you :)

This week over at Stamping With The Dragon we are having a Spring theme.  So head on over and check out the gorgeous projects from the Design Team and don't forget to enter your own.
I have used this gorgeous pre-coloured image from the store called Flutterbyes (here).  I printed it lots of times and then cut out certain elements again.  Then I stuck them down with double sided foam tape and added some glitter.  I made it into a cute little gift tag.

I hope you are enjoying the weather whatever the season .......and I thankyou for stopping by.  Keep your eyes peeled (what a funny saying) when you are out next ... you never know who you might see enjoying the sunshine.

Whimsy Stamps - No Patterned Paper

Wednesday!  Already!  Wow where has the week gone??

This week over at Whimsy our topic is
NO PATTERNED PAPER

Don't forget! You don't have to use a whimsy image. It would be great if you did though, and it doesn't have to be a card. We welcome all paper projects.

Our Prize this week is

There are so many gorgeous images over at the Whimsy Store .. but seeing that Easter is fast approaching I thought this little guy would do the trick.

I just love the little dance he is doing ..... well that's what it looks like to me.  My DH said it looks like he is afraid to step on the worm he he he.

I have embossed the background and used some lovely thick ribbons down the side.  The ribbons and flowers are from Kaisercraft.  The image is coloured in copic markers and you can find it here.

Head on over to the challenge blog and check out the gorgeous creations from the DT.

Thanks for stopping by again this week :)

Mad For Markers - Fairy Ria and her Dragon friend

Hello :)  I hope you are having a magnificent day ...... and that you are getting some crafting done.

I am very excited to announce that I have been accepted as part of the Mad For Makers Digi Team!  You can find digi images here and there will be more on the way.

Here is a sample of the new digis for this month .... and you know how I LOVE dragons so I was super excited about this little cutie.

Sorry about the lighting ... the sun was going down and we have not had a sunny day since ..... here comes winter.

I turned these pretty little digis into bookmarks.  I saw this idea on another blog where you cut the corner off an envelope and then decorate .... what a fabulous idea!  I did mine double sided ... the first side holding the egg and the second side the egg has hatched.  I like how the wings stick out because it means I can find my page super easy!

Don't forget to check out the gorgeous creations from the Design Team!

Thankyou so much for stopping by ... I'm keeping it short tonight as I'm battling a cold .... so I think I'm just going to take my book and bookmark and head off to bed.  Goodnight. ..... see you again soon.

Stamping With The Dragon - Rupert Plays Rock

Another week is almost over!  Are you ready for the weekend?  Well Rupert is! He is ready to Rock and Roll!

I have used this fantastic image from Stamping Dragon Designs called Rupert Plays Rock.  I have coloured him in Copic markers C00 and C01.  Then for his guitar I have used 100 (Black) and BG07 and covered it with glossy accents to give it the shine of an electric guitar.  I also used some spica pens on certain elements of the guitar.  I was thrilled with how it turned out!

The background paper is also from Stamping Dragon Designs and it is called Rhapsody In Blue.  Unfortunately my camera couldn't quite catch the correct colour so it looks a bit faded here ... but it is a really lovely colour in real life.  I have stamped a sentiment up the top and gone over it with a black spica pen .. just to add a bit more shine.

The Design Team have created sensational projects once again ... so be sure to head on over to the Challenge Blog to check them out.

Thanks for stopping by .... and may your life be filled with music (and craft!)

Whimsy Stamps - Shape EZ

Hi there ..... it's nearly Easter ..... mmmmm chocolate!

And what better way to present your gift of mini chocolate eggs to someone than in a home made gift bag!

Shape EZ templates will enable you to create unique projects for every day use or use the templates to create special one of a kind projects.

These templates and cut files make your projects quick and "EZ" depending on your choice of embellishments.

These templates come with options, empowering you to choose to include extras such as windows, pockets, or even inserts of designer paper that will perfectly fit inside the base form.

Shape EZ is an exclusive product you can use over and over again from TLC with Whimsy - an affordable way to create in your way

You can hand cut or use a computerised cutting machine to cut these files.

I cut this Roll Bag out on just some plain cardstock and then stamped circles all over it. I have used the 'extras' that come with the file to make a tag .. but you could make a window in the middle of the bag with it too!

I've stayed with masculine colours as I want to use this for my 16 year old nephew's Easter gift ... so quick and easy to make that I won't be disappointed when I see him gobble up the chocolate eggs and then throw the bag in the bin ....

This is the view from the top ... there is plenty of room in there!

Don't forget to head on over to the Challenge Blog this week .... there are some amazing projects made with these very versatile cutting files!

Thanks for stopping by .... I'm off to have a chocolate (he won't know its missing) and a coffee.
