Good evening. Won't be getting much done on the internet tonight. Our limit is certainly up and everything is happening at a snails pace ... an elderly snail at that!
I have created a card tonight that I am extremely happy with. I have spent ages on this card and really tried to co-ordinate my papers and then coloured my image.
I hope you like it. I have used Dustin Pike's Cera and coloured the gorgeous Dino in Copics YG91, YG93, YG95, YR61, YR65, YR68, C00, W00, W1 and of course some spica on the hat and spots.
I'm really happy with the candle on the cake. I used Y00 and then BV31 and for the flame I used Y17, YR16 and Y00.
The cuttlebug was used to emboss the orange background cardstock and the rest is fairly basic .... just lots of thought into colours.
I hope you enjoy this delicious little morsel .... mmmm I would love a piece of that cake .... it would be so yummy in my tummy :)
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

A late one tonight ....
Hello ... it's 11pm here and I should be in bed! But I got to colouring and creating ... and you know how it is.
I have coloured this gorgeous Magnolia stamp in copics ... can't remember what colours sorry ... getting tired.
With the doily on the background I rubbed a Colour Box Fluid Chalk ink pad in Creamy Brown over the top to get the desired colour. First time I've tried this .. worked a treat :)
The rest of the card is pretty self explanatory ... not much to it just clean and simple. I popped on all those little pearl things ... decided I didn't want them all on there but when I tried to remove them they left a glue residue so I put them back.
Anyway ... that's enough waffling here are the photos
Ha ha ha ... wondered why I couldn't find them on the computer ... hadn't uploaded them from my camera .... yawn ..... oh dear ... must wrap this up and get to bed!
I would like to enter this chocolate card in the following challenges:-

Hooked On Craft - #6 Wings

goodnight :)

Sweet enough to eat ........ mmm strawberries, chocolate & cream
Good evening I hope you have had a wonderful day. I made the cauliflower and leek soup ... it was delicious. Even my two year old ate lots! All I did was fry up some garlic and the leek, pour in the chicken stock, add the cauliflower pieces and then simmered until soft. Blended it and then served with a dollop of light sour cream. mmmmmmmmmmm
I am really pleased with this card! I purchased some papers from KaiserCraft on Friday while I was there doing the photo frame class. It's so nice to have some gorgeous papers and be spoilt for choice. I want some more now though .... he he he ...... crafting is so addictive! I think we start because we think we can save money by making our own things, may it be knitting, sewing or paper crafts for example .. but then we get addicted and want all the new gizmos, accessories and bits and pieces. In the end it costs us a fortune .... but at least we are happy and busy!
I have coloured the absolutely gorgeous Maria from Tiddly Inks and then used some lovely bazzill cardstock and the flower patterned paper from Kaisercraft. I embossed the cream using my cuttlebug, added a couple of little pearl things ................ and voila! I love the colour scheme of this card and to be totally honest it makes me want to eat a big slice of chocolate and strawberry cake with lashings of cream. The colours are making me hungry!

A sunset ... with clouds .... distress crackle paint, copics and stamps ... what a mix!
Good afternoon ... I hope the day is treating you well. I just hung all my washing out and then it started to rain ... typical! Later on today I'm going to make a cauliflower and leek soup. Not going to use a recipe just going to make it up as I go ..... sort of like my card making :)
I have coloured the gorgeous Miss Charlotte from Make It Crafty and painstakingly cut her out using scissors and a craft knife. Why o why do I continue to do this? It takes so long .......
I have coloured a sunset image ...... not bad .... not great ...... and boy did I used a lot of ink. For the life of me I couldn't really remember what a sunset looked like (probably because at that time of the day I'm stuck inside cooking dinner, doing the dishes, or bathing my daughter) so it's just an interpretation.
The frame was just cut out of cardstock and then I used Ranger Distress Crackle Pain in Vintage Photo over the top. The background card is a lovely 'oatmeal' coloured cardstock and I have stamped Lucy's 600LC Ships Wheel with ColourBox Fluid Chalk in Chestnut Roan. I stamped a few times before re-inking the stamp so I got a kind of fade out look.
For the sunset I used the following copic markers:-
B000, YR02, R22, V12, C00 & BV23
I did have two attempts ... this is a picture of my first go .....
I'm not very good with a craft knife so please excuse the white edges .....
Oh she looks so relaxed ... as if she doesn't have a care in the world.
The whole card.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:-
Make It Colourful - #32 Sunsets With Clouds
My Sheri Crafts - #67 Vacation
Here Come The Boys - #9 - Brown & Oranges
Make It Monday - #52 Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by ..... oh perfect timing as I can hear a little someone calling out "Mummy .. up now ... morning" She has just finished her nap.
Will be back tonight.

A little gift bag for someone special ........
Good evening :) I spent the day at my Sister's today for my Niece's 13th Birthday. The sun was shining and we spent all day outside. My daughter had heaps of fun playing with the pet rabbits, jumping on the trampoline and playing with her cousins.
I have created this little gift bag tonight for a special young girl who adores rabbits and the colour green. She will love this little bag and I'm going to pop some craft bits and pieces in there ... mainly punched out images, a bit of lace, and some paper flowers. She wants to make cards! So I thought I would help get her started.
I have made one of these bags before and was really happy with how it turned out. You can use punches or dies to get the scalloped edge and the circle in the middle. So this time I thought I would add a bit of lace and some lovely silver glittery pen for a bit of glamour. The gorgeous little rabbit is a freebie from Sharing My Thoughts, and is one of the first digi stamps I ever coloured with copics. I really love this little rabbit and have coloured him a few times. Generally in these colours as I think he just looks so soft and cute. I embossed the bag using my cuttlebug and used a We R Memory Keepers silver pen on the raised areas.
I used double sided foam tape to attach the top so it sticks out ... revealing the lace a little more.
I would like to enter this bag into the following challenges:-
Marks Finest Papers - #27 Use Lace
Send A Smile 4 Kids - Punches & Die Cuts
One Stop Craft Challenge - #46 Anything But A Square
Just Some Lines - Anything But A Card
Thanks for stopping by :) I hope you had a wonderful sunny and happy day also.

A Question on Sewing on Cards
Hello my awesome, talented and creative followers :)
I need some help please.
A lovely friend of mine gave me the most gorgeous Birthday card recently and it had stitching on it. I really love this card and have been noticing stitching on cards all over blog sites. I do have a sewing machine ... a great big one that is hard to get to and not at all convenient (also I don't really know how to sew). I was wondering if anyone uses a mini sewing machine and what they think of it.
Any advice on what to look for and where to get one from would be much appreciated. I would love to give this a go as it looks stunning.
Thankyou so much for your help.
Happy crafting :)

A few things to show you :)
Good evening :) Wow can't believe I have 37 followers! Thankyou so much .... it's hard to believe that so many people are liking my creations, I'm very flattered. Your comments are lovely and much appreciated.
Today I made the following card during my daughter's nap but didn't get a chance to upload it.
I have coloured the adorable Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Willow in some lovely aqua copics and of course added some spica pen to her eyelids and the white areas on her clothing.
I have then used some 'music sheet' scrapbooking paper that I had in my stash and used a sponge to dab Distress Ink in Vintage Photo all over it and around the edges of all my cardstock and flowers.
I've popped a little sentiment down the bottom .... I struggled to think of the right words but I thought these words "good times" would be suitable for so many occasions and a 'feel good' comment.
I'm quite pleased with this card as the background colours and papers are quite masculine but the image is very feminine. I love the contrast.
As you know last night I went and did a class at the local craft store. We made a photo frame. I really struggled with this project and to be honest it was not what I expected. They actually didn't have all the materials they were supposed to (they were not available) and so we had to use some different things. But even though it wasn't the exact look I wanted I'm happy with it. I thought I would share a picture of it with you .. not a great photo as it's already on my wall so sorry about that.
the photo would have been better a little bit more to the right .... but oh well. In the little frame under the photo is my daughter's name ... Madalyn ... in little stickers.
We made the vines for the flowers using some wire covered in puff paint then twisted bark around it and attached some punched out leaves. Instead of bark it was supposed to have that spanish moss which I think looked absolutely stunning (this was also supposed to sit in the bottom of the frame) but as I mentioned they couldn't get any so we had to use bark. I left the bark out of the bottom of the frame as it just didn't suit.
The vine was a bit fiddly and I didn't really like it ... until it was all put together and then I was happy. The little wooden bird cages are gorgeous! I sponged some brown inks over them to give them the lovely colour. They are from Kaiser Craft .. going to have to get some more of them as I'm totally in love with them.
Anyway back to the above card. I'm going to enter it into heaps of challenges ... just because .... :)

Purple is back!
Hello everyone :) Yep the purple is back! Oh how I have missed my favourite colour .... but I must admit it has been challenging and fun using different colours.
I am now at 34 followers and I would just like to say THANKYOU! I feel so special and am delighted that you like my creations enough to be a follower. Your comments and advice are much appreciated and I am thrilled that you leave so many!
I wasn't going to make a card tonight ... I was busy colouring today for the next challenge at Crafting For All Seasons where I am on the Design Team (how lucky am I!).
Talking about Crafting For All Seasons have you been over and checked out the latest Bingo Challenge? Its a fun one and I would love to see your creations over there.
Anyway as I was saying wasn't going to do a card tonight but I won't be able to make anything at home tomorrow night as I'm going to my first ever Class at the local craft store! I'm really excited, it's my first class ever and we are going to make a Box Photo Frame with flowers on a vine. I am going to use the cute photo of my gorgeous girl wearing my slippers (see previous post) and can't wait to see the result.
So back to my card ...... Ta dah ... here it is :)
I really really really love this card. Yes I used the same image on last nights card and adored it! She is a little pixie/fairy from Make It Crafty called Cici. I generally colour two images if I'm happy with my colouring so that I have another one in the same colours.
So what do you think?
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:-

Crafting For All Seasons Challenge #8 - Bingo
I'm a little nervous as this is my first card for Crafting For All Seasons Challenge Blog as a Design Team Member.
For this challenge we got to select a gorgeous digi image from Angelique at Sliekje digi Stamps. I had so much trouble deciding what image to use as they are all so gorgeous and FREE! How wonderful is that .. all those sweet images right there ... for FREE!
I eventually decided on this sweet little Sleeping Kitten. He's so cute I just want to pick him up and give him a cuddle. I didn't notice the little mouse on his back until I started to colour him ... double cuteness! As this is a bingo challenge you need to select 'a line' ... I chose Ribbons, Glitter/Shine, Flowers.
I have coloured this cute snoozing kitten with copic markers in the following colours:-
Kitten - E71, E74 (R00 & R20 for ears)
Vine - YG63, YG67
Flowers - V12, V15, V17
The large hearts are pink spica pen with crystal ice Icestickles over the top.
The small hearts are in pink spica pen.
Oh and not forgetting the little mouse in C5 and R20
Around the outside of the oval image I ran a purple ink pad and then attached it to some sparkly purple cardstock. I'm not sure where the green cardstock on the bottom is from or the ribbon .. they are just out of my stash. The flowers are paper flowers from the local craft store with some tiny tiny tiny beads stuck to the middle flower. The butterflies and the flowers on the purple section are actually ribbon ... I cut them out from the ribbon (I played around with colouring them with my copics but I think they look nicer plain).
So there you have it ... my first DT card ... what do you think? I would love to hear your comments and I would also love for you to give this Bingo challenge a go ... which line will you choose? Looking forward to checking out your entry ... I'm sure it will be amazing! Head on over to the challenge page and check out all the great DT entries and be isnpired :)

An interesting colour combination ... not sure if it works ....
Good evening fellow bloggers. Tonight I would like to show you a a card I have created .... and I'm really not sure of the colour combination. I'm very happy with the colouring of little Cici from Make It Crafty but the rest .. hmmm I'm not to sure.
So firstly I tried these colours ..... basically I used the colours that were in the image to create the base card .... but not sure ......
So then I tried this ... the cardstock is all sparkly so it looks better in real life ... but I still don't know about the colours. Maybe as a card for a child this would be good.
Well I think it's an odd card but I'm going to enter it anyway .... everyone likes something different :)
I would like to enter this wacky card into the following challenges:-
Make It Colourful - #31 Ground Your Subject
Simon Says - Sketch
Digital Tuesday - Cute & Girly
I Copic - All About Children
Thanks for visiting ... hopefully these colours did not make you feel ill .... hmmm I'm still unsure because I kind of like it and then I don't and then I do ........ ah well they say it's a woman's right to always change her mind :)

A Bookmark ... perhaps a Father's Day gift
Good afternoon. Its such a lovely day here today! This morning my 2 year old daughter and I gardened and chased the chickens. We have two chickens that roam around our back yard and my daughter adores them. They are tame enough for her to catch and hold.
Thankfully she is having a nap ... and I got some time to do some colouring.
I have created a lovely bookmark. I'm thinking of sending this to my Dad for Father's day as he loves to read and is currently studying as well.
I have used the superb Tiddly Inks Aiden image. I think he is just lovely and quite versatile. I have embossed the background using a cogs embossing folder as I thought it reflected the study of science and mechanical things and then ran some green ink around the white base card.
I couldn't find a sentiment stamp that was suitable .. so I wrote my own. It is something that I say to myself often ... as it reminds me that to learn and experience things I have to be willing to listen and try.
So without further waffle ... here is my bookmark.
I would like to enter this bookmark in the following challenges:-

Hope to be back tonight :) I hope you are enjoying your day/night wherever you are.

More Orange? Surely Not!
Hello ... yep I'm back again ... wow 3 posts in one night!
And would you believe it ... more orange! What's going on here? Maybe its the sunshine that we have been getting, I could be feeling more Summery.
Tonight I have coloured a gorgeous little mouse from Sliekje Stamps. You just have to check this website out as she has gorgeous FREE stamps available. I love her little animal stamps and she has some lovely children images as well.
I was just fiddling really tonight ... but I was quite happy with my colouring and thought I would make it into a card.
Papers, papers, papers, my biggest nightmare! I don't have many and what I do have are not that crash hot. So I used one that I really love for the base and then I created my own. I stamped Style Leaf (1901LD) by Lucy's Stamps using white Fluid Chalk ink on a shimmery green cardstock. Really happy with the result ... here is a picture ............
I used a corner punch on the corners of my images and cardstock to give it a softer look. This gorgeous little mouse was giving of a soft but fresh vibe ... so I wanted the card to be bright but gentle. Does that make any sense to anyone else except me ha ha ha.
I also used a punch to punch out the little butterfiles, I thought they added some dimension and a nice finishing touch.
Can you believe there is no purple on this card? Neither can I! The flower was going to be purple but I made it orange at the last minute.
Thanks for checking out my card ... I hope you have as much fun creating something today.
I would like to enter this sleepy little mouse in the following challenges:-
Willow Sketchie Challenge - Sketch
Karen's Doodles Challenge Blog - Punch It Out
Outlines Rubber Stamp Company - Four Legged Friends
Make It Monday - #51 Anything Goes
Paper Playtime - #53 Anything Goes
It is a lot of challenges ... but I thought I would give it a go .... you should see the hundreds of cards in some of them!
Ok off to bed now .. night night.

whats going on .... Orange!!!! ... where is the Purple??
Good evening blog friends :)
Firstly I would just like to say .... aaahhhh it's nice to be back. I have not been able to create for a few nights due to night shift at work and I really was looking forward to doing something tonight. Unfortunately I have a doozy of a headache so my creation is not what I was hoping for ... but I'm still happy with it.
I only work part time these days (as I have a 2 year old daughter) and to be totally honest I don't know how I ever did my job full time. It's quite a high stress and emotional job and last night was a really horrible shift and I must admit I was a bit emotional driving home (thankfully I kept it together at work and was professional).
So I think that is why I have a headache today .... lost sleep and tension.
Anyway enough whining .... I have coloured this absolutely gorgeous little girl image from Tickled Pink Stamps, Cherrie with Rose. This image reminds me of my little girl so I coloured her with similar hair and skin colouring.
As you know my favourite colour is purple and it is a common theme of my cards but the other week I entered a challenge where you had to use orange and even though I'm not particularly fond of the colour I was quite happy with the outcome. So I thought I would give it another go.
I have just done a basic layout and then attached the sweet little image with some magic mount. I coloured the ribbon with YR68 as I didn't have any orange ribbon. The circle behind the image I cut on my Gazelle (a Die cut machine I'm trying to learn how to use) The Copics I used on the image are:-
Y15, Y17 - Yellow Areas
YR61, 65, 68 - Orange Areas
B93, 95, 97 - Jeans
R32, 35, 37 & YG63, 67 - Rose
E000, 00, 02 - Skin
E31, 33, 35, 37 - Hair
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:-
Tickled Pink Stamps - Challenge #33 Anything Goes
iCopic Weekly Challenges - #44 Colour Embellishment
iCopic - All About Children Blog Hop
Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge - Punches and DieCuts
Thankyou for stopping by :) I'm going to have some more 'therapy' now .... colouring is such awesome therapy and makes me so happy .... so I'm just going to colour something for the sake of colouring :)
Hope to have something more for you tomorrow.

Mad For Markers Challenge Blog Voting & Hospital Trip for me today
Good evening all :)
I won't be creating tonight as I'm thoroughly exhausted after spending most of the day in the Hospital Emergency with my 2 year old daughter. My poor sweet girl was injured at the park during my Nephew's 8th Birthday party.
The doctor thought she had a fractured arm .... but luckily (after waiting for hours!) they found out it was a dislocated elbow and managed to pop it back in. So she is back to her usual bubbly and happy self.
But of course she spent most of the day in terrible pain and misery and I have therefore felt terrible and worried. You know I love being a Mother ... but the worry is so hard! and I know it will never go away as she will always be my little girl and I will be always concerned about her well being.
My shoulders and back are really aching from trying to sit so still at the hospital because everytime I moved she screamed in pain ..... but she's all better now ..... and I know that there are parents out there with sick children that won't be feeling better with a special 'twist' of the arm. So my thoughts are with those parents and children tonight ...............................
If you feel inclined please pop over to Mad For Markers Challenge Blog and vote for my card. It's the Purple Dragon #9. There are so many lovely cards entered.. it was a Spica Pen challenge ... and as a follower of my creations you will know how much I adore my spica pens ha ha ha. You will see the competition entries on the right hand side of the blog. Thankyou so much :)
So anyway that's it for me .... I'm off to rest .... and perhaps even read a book (something that doesn't get done much these days)
Goodnight :)
PS Please excuse any spelling mistakes .. I'm just to worn out to proof read tonight :)

Make It Colourful Challenge Blog #30 Make It Wet
This challenge entry is on behalf of my Husband, Steve. He was so chuffed to get mentioned in the Pink challenge ... although he couldn't understand why he didn't win .. ha ha ha ha.
He has 'added' to my tree image so he could enter the Make It Wet challenge over at Make It Colourful.
I coloured this lovely image called Tree Of Love from Make It Crafty ... and he as added the 'wet' using the computer. I wasn't sure about entering it but he really wanted to and Zoe over at Make It Crafty said it would be ok so here it is :)
I have tried and tried to do water droplets, rain, dew or anything wet on my colouring all week and just can't do it. This is a really hard challenge! But it has been fun trying :)
This is a skill I will keep trying to master .... but for now I think I will go back to colouring something a little easier :)

It was hard to cut up a beautiful image after I coloured it!
Hi there .... Last night I coloured this lovely Tiddly Inks Priscilla image ... and today I chopped her up! I had actually coloured two as I was going to use a lovely aqua image on this card but sadly I cut the pieces incorrectly and so she had to go to image heaven. This purple one was destined for another card ... but it was an emergency so I'm sure she will understand why I had to chop her into 1 inch pieces.
Over at Tiddly Inks challenge blog this week they have an Inchies (Challenge #62 Inch My Way Along) challenge so I am going to enter this card over there. And seeing as this lovely image was supposed to go onto a wedding card I will also enter it in the Cute Card Thursday Challenge #178 Weddings.
So as you can see I have coloured her using the ever faithful Copics in my most used colours of purple! This time I used BV11, BV13, BV17 and of course some spica pen. Don't know where I would be without those spica pens. Although I don't think you can see it in the photo ... it is on the hat band, the frill on her dress and the circles on her bodice.
I embossed some lovely cream card with a Cuttlebug embossing folder of Cogs. I purchased this folder recently specifically for my Tiddly Inks stamps and I also have some other Steampunk stamps it will mach perfectly with. This is the first time I have used it and I am quite happy with the design.
I have stuck it all down on a black base card as I wanted a crisp look and then added a few purple flowers that match perfectly with the dress ... this is quite by accident, I just got lucky with the colour match :)
Well that will be it from me for now as once again my naughty but adorable little girl is not having a nap so we are off to play outside. I'll probably be back later on .... fingers crossed.
Happy crafting and blogging xoxoxox
Oooops nearly forgot to put the photo on .... here it is :)

Wow! I tried something and love it!
Ok a really quick post ... I was going to go to bed ... but I guess this just proves my addiction!
I was scanning through my emails and realised that I hadn't entered this weeks challenge at Meljen's! Oh no! So I thought I would make a start ... but amazingly I started ... and finished!
I used the gorgeous Winter Owl image and coloured him in copics (to be honest I had already coloured him) and added some Ice Stickles for the snow and hat.
The Meljen's challenge this week is Sparkles, Shine and Glitter and this card hits the mark! It shines, shimmers, glitters and if you are looking at it under lighting you will need sunglasses!
I then attached this image to some metallic looking red card and then got stuck ... I still had my cuttlebug out and wondered what the metallic card would look like embossed. WOW!!!!!!! It looks totally AWESOME!
The photos don't do it justice ... you just have to try it ...you will love it!
So I embossed the green with some large snowflakes and red with smaller snowflakes and stuck it all together. I reckon this is all the card needs as it really looks amazing! It looks like metal! Wow!
Ok I'm going to go to bed now! I have been working night shift the last few nights and am totally exhausted .. I actually have the dizzies! So night night ... no more blogging for me ... it's 10pm!
Thanks for stopping by ... again ..... :)

A little bag that will delight inside and out
Good evening :) I hope the day has treated you well.
I'm back this evening with something a little different .... it's a treat bag. Mmmmmm yummy. What a perfect idea to fill with little cookies, chocolates, nuts or lollies. You could even put little tubes of moisturiser, perfumes, toys or whatever you like. I like this idea as an alternative to gift wrapping and up the top you could even put "To....." and "From....." to turn that part into the card/gift tag.
I cut it from a 12x12 piece of cardstock and it measures approx 11cm along the bottom and 15cm high. The width is about 6cm but because it is flexible you could fit quite a lot of goodies in there. I popped a zip lock bag filled with lollies for demonstration purposes .... but as soon as I had taken the photos I ate them!
I used the absolutely delightful Lil Victorian Evie from Tickled Pink Stamps and coloured her in copics and of course spica pen.
As you can see I embossed the cardstock with my cuttlebug (before assembling). I was suprised how easy this was! It's a winner in my book and I will be using it come Christmas, Easter and other festive times. Oh the possibilities ... you could use it for baby showers, weddings etc.
Anyway ... here it is
Hard to get a good picture.....
The embossing on top looks lovely I think.
I really like the Christmas decoration embossing.
This is the back of the bag ... I supposed I could have cut another circle so you could see the goodies through there also but I though it would make it a bit flimsy and I also wanted the decorations to be seen.
Sorry about the glare .. but this is it before I popped the bag of lollies in ... or maybe it was after I ate them :)
I would like to enter this treat bag in the following challenges:-
Tickled Pink Stamps Blog - August Christmas Challenge - Embossing
Decorate To Celebrate - Challenge #6 Reunion (could be a a reunion at Christmas time, take home treat bag)
Simon Says - Food & Drink Challenge
Creative Craft Challenges - Anything But A Card
Try It On Tuesday - Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your blogging and creating :)
