Just for the fun of it ....

good evening :)  I hope your day has been wonderful.  My darling daughter napped for over 2 hours today!!!  So that meant I got a chance to finish off a DT card and colour another two images.

Here is one of the images I coloured.  I used this image in my previous design team post for the current Crafting For All Seasons Challenge and I loved colouring it so much that I have done it again already!

It is an image from The Paper Shelter called Warm In The Winter.

Unfortunately the camera doesn't actually show the vibrancy of this card.  That is the problem with crafting and blogging at night!
Isn't she just adorable and that little kitten is so cute too.  I'm really happy with how the log turned out.  I used the following copic markers to colour this image:-
BG49, BG10, R29, C00, C1, E37 & E47
Her skin I used E000, E00 and a spot of R20 for her cheeks and for the hair it was C1, C3, C5 & C7
A bit of gold ice stickles on her hat and then silver icestickles for the snow.

As usual I struggled to put together the card so I ended up just embossing another strip of the teal coloured card and sticking that through the middle and then using some glossy accents as adhesive I ran a length of white twine on either side.  A big thankyou to my friend Danie who gave me this twine the other day!

I used some foam mounting tape to stick the image down so it is elevated about the twine.

I'm really really really happy with this card!  Simple ... yes (but that's what I like) ... but I love it!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-
The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog - #38 Christmas Fun
The Outlawz Colour Challenge - (you need to be a member for this one)

Enjoy the rest of your time on the computer :)  I may be back .... oh actually maybe not I just looked at the time!  I don't know where that time went ... aaaahhhhhh yes I do .... I cleaned up my craft space!!!!  Very proud of myself :)
