I have surprised myself!

Hello there ... I'm a tiny bit excited today ... well rather excited actually because I have created a card unlike any I have created before!

Firstly ... no copic markers or other colouring medium (besides a little bit of spica pen for some sparkle), secondly so totally awesome flowers ... and thirdly I managed to get the wonderful rough edges on my cardstock that I see on other people's blogs and have been trying to do!

So here it is ..........

So .. what do you think??????  I have used a sensational tag and papers from Stamping Dragon Designs .. from the Fantasy Bundle (x2 packs bundled together for only $6 ... heaps of papers, elements and sensational bits and pieces!).  The pink paper in the background is from one of the packs .. it is gorgeous and actually has images of fairies on it ..... and the tag and corners are from the other pack.

I have used some clear spica pen on parts of the images on the tags ... sorry it's hard to see in the photos.  I have distressed the edges of the cardstock with a Tim Holtz distressing tool .. my latest addition to the craft room ... loving it!

The flowers are all from Kaisercraft but I did add some green glitter glue to the green flower.  Ribbon from my stash, as is the brad holding it in.  And for the leaves I used a die from Spellbinders called Foliage.

I'm really very happy with this card as it is a totally different style for me .... and I am just in love with it!

Make sure you head on over to Stamping With The Dragon to check out the rest of the projects from the Design Team ... and if you enter your own .. you could win a prize!!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by ....xoxoxox Carly
