It is the month of love .....

February is the month of love .... well that is what the shops are telling us ... everywhere I look I see Valentines day cards, chocolates and trinkets.  But I bet my Husband will still forget Valentines day he he he.

I have a very basic card to show you today ...... This card shows that with the very minimum of product you can still make a hand made card much cheaper and much more meaningful than you can buy at the supermarket.  (But don't get me wrong ... I would LOVE a card from my DH ... I wouldn't care where it came from .. would just be nice if he remembered)

I have used the really cute little pre-coloured Spotty Pups Valentines Heart from Stamping Dragon Designs.  The background papers are also from the store and they are called Joi Arts pack.  I must admit these papers are actually much nicer than they are showing up in the photo.  I stamped a little heart and then went over the top in some silver glitter glue.  And the word is a rub on.

This is a really basic card .... but still handmade with love ....

I have also made this card .. using Purfect Love from Stamping Dragon Desings.  Another simple card but quite pretty.  The red cardstock is a gorgeous red shimmer.  I have used a Cheery Lynn Designs Die called Tropical Flourish.  The image is coloured in copics and then I have used a glitter glue on the moon.  I have written the sentiment using a black marker.

To check out some really terrific projects head on over to Stamping With The Dragon .... you will love what you see.

  3. Carly, these cards as so cute. Very well done. But you know I'm going to say I like the cat one best! hehe How did you do the hearts on the moon? Are they punched out? or are they stickers? I love how they look.
    Hugs,
