Whimsy Stamps - Monochromatic

Hi Everyone It's Wednesday again so that means it's time for a new challenge!

Our Topic this week is

Monochromatic
(shades of the same colour)

Don't forget You don't have to use a whimsy image,It would be great if you did though, and it doesn't have to be a card, we welcome all paper projects,

Our Prize this week is

For my card this week I have used this super cute image called Balloon Love
and because for a LIMITED TIME ONLY
you can get digi stamps for 50% off
you could get this gorgeous image for only $1

Yep you read that right 50% off digi stamps!

Anyway ... back to my card (although I totally understand if you have rushed off to do some shopping! ... but I hope you come back and leave me a comment)

I have used just basic black and white card stock.  I coloured the image using copic markers .. just the C family (COO, C01 & C3)
On the nose I used some Enamel Accents from Ranger (it comes in a twin pack of white and black) .. and the dots around the edge are using the white.

Aren't those brads gorgeous!  I have no idea where they were from ... just in my stash ... they matched perfectly ... as did the ribbon.  The word is a rub on from Kaisercraft ... love the font!

I cut the base cards using some Grand Calibur dies ..... I have a story about those ... will post about it later ... but just in case you are too busy shopping to come back ... I WON! a Grand Calibur machine and some dies from a gorgeous blog called Simply Stampin With Shirl.  I couldn't believe it!!!  How lucky am I!!  It has certainly allowed me to be more creative and I'm loving the results I'm getting .... now I just need more dies!  LOL!

Make sure you head on over to the Whimsy Challenge Blog and check out all the gorgeous monochromatic creations from the Design Team ..... and enter your own project for a chance to win!

Thankyou so much for stopping by
Big colourful (or monochromatic ... whichever you prefer) hugs to you
