Good afternoon :) A super dooper quick entry this arvo as I'm having trouble concentrating with my daughter screaming in the back ground ... nope I'm not a bad mother (hopefully) ... I'm just trying to get her to have a nap and boy is she fighting it. Arrgghhh the terrible twos! and people tell me it gets worse when they are three!
So I have been trying to block out the "Muuuuummmmmmyyyyyyy up!" and "Muuuummmmmyyyyy morning!" shouts and screams and put together this little tag.
I used the totally lovely Love Tree image from Make It Crafty ... if you haven't been over there you absolutely must as Zoe has some totally gorgeous stamps! Colouring a tree is harder than it looks ... I used a whole bunch of brown copics .. don't ask me what colours as I just kept adding different ones until I was happy and then for the leaves I used G21, 24 and 28 and of course some red on some of the leaves to make them look like little hearts. The ground was another challenge altogether .. and once again I just fiddled with colour until I didn't want to fiddle anymore in case I made it worse ha ha ha. You should see my desk there are markers everywhere!
I stamped some lovely leaves using colourbox fluid chalk ... punched a hole in them and joined them with some natural twine then embossed a tag with some little trees.
Ha ha ha I'm laughing because all I can hear now is "Hello Mummy ... Hello .... Morning?"
So I'll pop up the photo and head off :) Thanks for visiting and enjoy your blogging and creating :)
Don't forget to head over to Crafting For All Seasons and check out the latest challenge ... did I happen to mention I'm on the Design Team ..... I'm so excited ... can't really believe they chose me! It feels like a bit of a dream ... and then to top it off I made it in the Top 5 in the last Tickled Pink Challenge .... Woo hooo!
Ok bye for now :)
PS I didn't post this earlier as my daughter only napped for 15 minutes in the end ... and when I got her up she had a blood lip and a huge bruise on her forehead! I guess she must have bashed her head on the side of the cot. I feel terrible! Hmmm perhaps I should have paid more attention to the crying .... and not been such a ruthless mother. Oh dear ..... She seems ok though and we did go out and had a play at Grandmas and then fish and chips for tea .... but I still feel terrible.
I would like to enter this tag in the following challenges:-
Try It On Tuesday - Tag Trees
The Poodles Parlour - Round and Round The Garden
Goodnight for now :)
