A few things to show you :)

Good evening :)  Wow can't believe I have 37 followers!  Thankyou so much .... it's hard to believe that so many people are liking my creations, I'm very flattered.  Your comments are lovely and much appreciated.

Today I made the following card during my daughter's nap but didn't get a chance to upload it.

I have coloured the adorable Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Willow in some lovely aqua copics and of course added some spica pen to her eyelids and the white areas on her clothing.

I have then used some 'music sheet' scrapbooking paper that I had in my stash and used a sponge to dab Distress Ink in Vintage Photo all over it and around the edges of all my cardstock and flowers.

I've popped a little sentiment down the bottom .... I struggled to think of the right words but I thought these words "good times" would be suitable for so many occasions and a 'feel good' comment.

I'm quite pleased with this card as the background colours and papers are quite masculine but the image is very feminine.  I love the contrast.

As you know last night I went and did a class at the local craft store.  We made a photo frame.  I really struggled with this project and to be honest it was not what I expected.  They actually didn't have all the materials they were supposed to (they were not available) and so we had to use some different things.  But even though it wasn't the exact look I wanted I'm happy with it.  I thought I would share a picture of it with you .. not a great photo as it's already on my wall so sorry about that.

the photo would have been better a little bit more to the right .... but oh well.  In the little frame under the photo is my daughter's name ... Madalyn ... in little stickers.
We made the vines for the flowers using some wire covered in puff paint then twisted bark around it and attached some punched out leaves.  Instead of bark it was supposed to have that spanish moss which I think looked absolutely stunning (this was also supposed to sit in the bottom of the frame) but as I mentioned they couldn't get any so we had to use bark.  I left the bark out of the bottom of the frame as it just didn't suit.
The vine was a bit fiddly and I didn't really like it ... until it was all put together and then I was happy.  The little wooden bird cages are gorgeous!  I sponged some brown inks over them to give them the lovely colour. They are from Kaiser Craft .. going to have to get some more of them as I'm totally in love with them.

Anyway back to the above card.  I'm going to enter it into heaps of challenges ... just because .... :)
