A not so 'girly' card... but still pretty ...

Hi there.  Counting down the days until our internet is 'recharged' so to speak ... was up at 5am this morning so that I could get through emails and check out some blogs. ... yawn.

Beautiful sunny day here today ... and of course my daughter did not want to nap! so very very quick card .. although I'm still happy with it.  I coloured the image this morning and assebled the card whilst she was having a play.

I was going for a 'girl' card but not the usual pinks and pretty stuff.  So I used a black base card as I thought it looked quite modern and 'sharp', then layered a doily over the top for a little bit of 'girly'.  The image is a Dustin Pike FREEBIE! that I have had for a while.  I think she's quite cute ... my guess is she's Charlotte's Aunt (you know Charlotte form Charlottes Web).
The Flowers down the bottom are just cute material flowers and I stuck a bright coloured brad through each one.
I used the following copics :-
Grass - YG23
Sky - B000
Log - E08, 33, 37, 47
Tongue - R32
Spider - W00, 01, 03 and then a clear spica pen over the top
Clothes, cups etc - Y11, Y15, 17
Flower YR04, 07
Hat, shoes, jewellery - V12 15, 17
Here is a close up so you can see the sparkles.  oh yeah and I coloured the napkin in C00, 01.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:-
Dustin Pike (Pikes Playground) - Girl Power
Stamp & Create - Critters
Digital Tuesday Challenge - Doilies

Thankyou for visiting me .... and the best of luck with your blogging and creating :)
